CH Sendache’s Key To Success “Keegan”

Keegan

PEDIGREE

Keegan is a “once in a lifetime dog” He has gorgeous type, awesome movement, and loves every endeavor he takes on. He came to us from JoAnna Matthisen of Sendache Bernese at 9 months old, and a month later in his first show he went Best of Breed and on to a Group III!

From there, he also took several more BOB’s and Best Puppy in Show at 11 months old. He finished at 13 months old with 4 majors and his first time out as a special at the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Alaska’s 2007 Regional Specialty, he made the “cut” for Best of Breed under breeder judge David Denis against 29 other Berners.  At 17 months old he took a Group I and a Group III.  He sat out quite a bit of the 2008 summer show season, as he was bitten by another dog and was shaved in order to heal properly. He will be going strong again at the BMDC of AK Regional Specialty July 31, 2008!

Keegan finished 2008 # 8 all breed, # 13 Breed.  He was shown 24 times and in those 24 shows (shaved neck and all remember) he took 1 BISS,  21 BOBs, 4 Group I’s, 2 Group II’s and 4 Group III’s!

Keegan is a stunning dog, everything interests him and he misses nothing. He is a large male with tremendous bone and coat, and a spectacular head. Keegan has a awesome earset, dark eye, great back skull, good muzzle width and proper markings. He has lots of neck, a deep capacious forechest, solid topline and broad powerful hindquarters. He also has good angulation front and rear, proper tail carriage and a strong desire to please.Keegan is very animated and expressive and catches the eye of spectators and judges alike. We look forward to campaigning him throughout 2009.
