KeeganKeegan is a “once in a lifetime dog” He has gorgeous type, awesome movement, and loves every endeavor he takes on. He came to us from JoAnna Matthisen of Sendache Bernese at 9 months old, and a month later in his first show he went Best of Breed and on to a Group III!

From there, he also took several more BOB’s and Best Puppy in Show at 11 months old. He finished at 13 months old with 4 majors and his first time out as a special at the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Alaska’s 2007 Regional Specialty, he made the “cut” for Best of Breed under breeder judge David Denis against 29 other berners. At 17 months old he took a Group I and a Group III. He sat out quite a bit of the 2008 summer show season, as he was bitten by another dog and was shaved in order to heal properly. He will be going strong again at the BMDC of AK Regional Specialty July 31, 2008!

ArwenArwen is beautifully balanced, has great type and gorgeous side gait! She finished her Championship easily in 2007 at 17 months.

Arwen demands attention wherever she goes, she is gentle and loving yet does possess an ‘I’ll do it my way” attitude. We will be breeding her in August 2008 to Keegan and hopefully will have puppies in late fall/early winter. See PUPPIES page for more information about inquiring about a puppy from that litter.

RemingtonRemington is my “heart” dog; there is an exquisite bond between him and I.

He finished his American Championship effortlessly in one short Alaskan show season, including winner’s dog at the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Alaska’s 1st Regional Specialty in 2006. He is quite typey, with a beautiful head and effortless movement. Well balanced with an incredible outline. He is the lover of the bunch, who will cozy up to anyone and warm their feet with a strategically placed rear. He has the Berner bump down to an art. He passed his DELTA therapy dog test in April 2008 and will be sharing his love with others as a therapy dog as well as occasionally returning to the show ring as a special!

ChanceChance is the golden boy of the bunch, not just in breed but in attitude. Chance possesses a gorgeous outline and flawless movement, a coat to die for and an unforgettable attitude. He’s a lover not a fighter and can frequently be seen with his “baby” in his mouth, a retriever all the way. He has been a wonderful teacher to Taylor our upcoming handler. Taylor has taken Best Junior Handler with him her first show and then went over to the breed ring and took a 5 point major reserve followed up with a 5 point major the next day. Taylor finished Chance in July 2008 making Chance Taylor’s 1st champion)! Taylor and Chance may be seen in the junior showmanship ring but Chance will not maintain a “Specials” career. Chance will not go forth in a breeding program (he is lacking the tri colored berner markings), but will dabble in obedience, rally, agility and as a therapy dog … visiting hospitals and senior homes to spread some joy and cheer to those in need with Taylor at his side.
